...the guage sensor? Hi Folks
I have a Mazda MPV 98 J Vin # M3LV523XT0808323 . This has been a maintenance nightmare for me , ever since it broke down in NM. Not because its a bag design, but because I was stiffed by the mechanics there .
Now after spending $1000 behind its rescue the mech tell me that your fuel gauge is down because there is a sensor in the fuel tank that needs replaced. If the sensor / float - can be replaced or fixed individually , then its fixable and if they make them so that its all in the same unit ( 1 unit has it all ) then you gotta get the fuel pump replaced.
Does anyone know which one is the case- can the gauge sensor be replaced individually or do I have to have the whole unit ? Thanks a lot Sam
Buying the entire fuel pump assembly is not something my pocket can afford at this point of time
