mazda miata V8 swap?????

i have a older 1992 miata and i was wonder if it is possible to do a ls2 swap if not what about ls1? If anyone know's or has experience with doing this if i got a shop to do it how much would it cost me and if i could do it myself how much would it cost but thats if u can give me an estimate i know a used ls1 ls2 is gonna run me about 3-5 grand would i have to change the trans well any advice needed
 
Your better off going to a FORD engine swap in this car. Although I am a diehard CHEVY FAN, the FORD engine simply fits better. Plus some FORD V8 engines can be used with the Miata transmission.
