...becomes higher? im thinking of buying a mazda cx-7 but the its BIG con is the low mpg. AWD automatically turns off when not needed, does that mean the mpg becomes higher? pls help.
Yes, but it isn't going to make a significant difference - especially in city driving.
Remember, the CX-7 has a turbocharged engine that requires premium fuel (not recommended, required).
You will average about 18-20 mpg even with the AWD off.
