hey everyone, I have a 1993 mazda mx-6 with a battery that keeps dying, first let me tell you about the car, it kept setting the alarm off everytime I opened the door so I went and cut like 8 wires that I thought were the security system (learned my lesson from that lol) then had those wires fixed by mechanic, I got a new battery from autozone and also had a new alternator put in, and the car drove fine for like a week then one day it wouldn't start, I've charged the battery all day and it starts once then never again, also jumped it and it started the first time then not again, why does the battery loose it's charge? thanks for the help

every car has system to recharge your battery, since the car needs battery to start, for A/C, radio and some other stuff like windows, sun roof etc..., there is a motor (i forgot what is called) that recharges your battery, i can tell from your problem that this motor is fuked up, go to dealer or some mechanical and let him check for you

Call AutoZone. Doesn't the new battery have a warranty?
Call and ask what to do.
