Mazda B-2200, 1990, 2.2 carb, clutch pressure plate orientation, lost the mark..?
Installing new clutch (pressure plate or called clutch cover by some) in my 2 wheel drive pick-up, it is a 1990, B-2200, 2.2 carb, I am not sure of the proper orientation.... I am compairing the two, the only difference is a stamped number on a small rivet (post) that is stamped B3 or C3 or something, not sure if that is what should be in a specific degree from TDC on front timing mark... can't see much of a diff. I don't have a factory manual so hoping someone on here would know the right allignmentbut on some pressure plates it is just a simple mark but not sure... help?

some pressure plates must be oriented a specific degree from, TDC 0 mark.
or a slight vibration can develope, this alinement mark is usually just a stamp or one pin set at a specific location... such as older Subaru's. I don't know Mazda's as helping kid put his clutch in... just making sure it is done right the first time kind of thing....
but yes.... on some cars it does matter what the orientaion is on the pressure plate.
This information is usually found in Factory manual or by tribal knowledge and again... I don't know Mazda's and possibly... it just don't matter.
