I have a 2008 Mazda 3 Hatch back stick shift car. I have had it for month and I bought it from a dealer. They assured me there were no problems at all. This morning I had gone out side and turned my car on to let it warm up for about 10 minutes. It had rained last night but not much and it was cold this morning but like I said I let it warm up for about 10 minutes before I had driven it. I did not have my E break on or anything I went to put it in reverse and it was stuck it felt like the E break was on but it wasn't. I kept trying to get it in to reverse but it didn't want to move... then Finally right before it moved it made a loud banging noise and then finally went in to reverse and I had left for work. My whole thing is I have had this car a month, I have been driving stick my whole life and I have never had a problem getting in reverse like I did this morning. The car is way to new to be having these issues. What could it be? I am going to call the dealer today when I get home from work and see what they can do but I want a general idea of what the problem could be that way they don't try to sucker me into something it has nothing to do with. So if you have had this problem or you know what it possibly can be please help.
