I just got an 2001 Mazda Tribute and love it but as I am looking at the engine with my husband we have noticed that we can not find the spark plugs. I looked in the book and can't find them anywhere. It is a V6 engine please help me and let me know where they are and how to change them

Also I found in the glove a small black key about 1.5 inches I called the original owner and she does not remember what it was for but she knows it is for the car that is also not in the manual.

Thank you so much for your help.
My husband is one that does not like others to touch our cars he is a "hands on" sort of man if you know what I mean. I have no problem taking to the shop but it is more for him than anything.

If you are not able to locate the spark plugs, then you will have a difficult time replacing them. (if you are just beginners at spark plug changes start with a lawn mower, not your car)

If the plugs need changing a mechanic will do it for a relatively cheap price.

Im not sure, but the key in the glovebox might be for the roof rack (if it came with one)

Good Luck!

well seems your best bet would be to buy a manual for that car.its a v 6 half the plugs are under the intake manifold . a haynes or climer or Chilton's will give you step by step instructions on how to change the plugs in that car
