I have been taking vicodin for 5 years now. Usually just one 500mg; once in awhile 2 pills. I'm prescribed them for a broken neck and severe back injuries from a car accident a few years ago.
Two weeks ago today I stopped taking my one pill. I haven't been in enough pain (from my injuries) to decide to take a pill so that's good.
I think for a day or two I possibly had withdrawal symptoms even though they were so mild I'm not sure if that's what it was.
The reason I quit was I thought the Vicodin might be giving me my high blood pressure which I developed last winter. I thought the ringing in my ears would quit and possibly I would start breathing better. I thought I'd have a lot more energy.
Is it I'm just expecting these things to disappear too soon?? Or could it be the Vicodin was never the problem?? :dizzy:
