Maya the Bee to air on CN Japan

Many of you may probably remember "Maya the Bee" when it aired on Nickelodeon about two decades ago.

Well, Cartoon Network Japan will air the original Japanese series now.

Just thought I mention it.

Shouldn't the people have Boomerang by now? Maya The Bee is an old show you know.

Boomerang is only a block on CN Japan. They don't have a separate network for Boomerang like in other countries.

Great.
One of the things I hated about CN Japan was that 40% of the shows were in undubbed anime.
But enough about that.
It's cool to see this show came full circle, made and aired in Japan, aired in the States on Nick Jr., and now back on in Japan again.

I remember Maya The Bee. A terrific show for preschoolers. Plus it wasn't particularly sentimental about insect life: in one ep a bunch of army ants who are Maya's friends find her lying on the ground unconscious. They think she's dead, so they carry her to the ant nest larder to carve her up. Ah, nature...
