When measuring with 10A current setting of Multimeter, I got the reading of 0.55A in battery drain. After several tries, I got 10A. ALT.S fuse for drain of 0.5A (Before removing it, I got 0.55A. After removing it, I got 0.045A). Clearly this is the problem.

I replaced the alternator 2 months ago. Battery was replaced last month. When the key is turned on, the voltage between + and - posts of battery is 14V. The reading is 12.5V when key is off.

I went to advance auto parts and they said battery, alternator and starter are good. After pulling 10A.ALT.S fuse, they found out that alternator won't charge the battery. When ALT.S fuse is on, they can't test alternator since the test tool says something wrong with the system (drain).

Here are my questions:
1. Is this fuse related to Alternator? I just replaced the Alternator 2 months ago? Does that mean something wrong with the Alternator? I suspect some circuits inside Alternator have shorting issue, which causes the drain.

2. Is it ground cable problem with Alternator?

3. How can I dig further to find the exact problem for this drain?
