Can anyone here fill me in on the film 'Matrix'? I heard that they are to release a sequel at some point, but other than that.. i know nothing...

they've literally just about filming two sequels in Australia.
I think, but will stand corrected, they will both come out next summer. ish.

Last I heard, the first sequel, The Matrix Reloaded is due to be released in May of 2003, and the final instalement, The Matrix Revolutions is due out in December of the same year. Heard this some time ago so these dates could well have changed.
Cannot wait til they are released. I have saw the original countless times and each time, the special effects are still as breath-taking. Roll on May 2003

If you were to get The Matrix: Revisited DVD you can watch some making of scenes and a ton of stuff about the Matrix sequels. It looks fantastic..

while you're here does The Matrix:Revisited DVD include the actual film?
a daft question probably - I assumed it did, but I remember looking at the box, and not being sure....

Just been to the cinema and saw a poster for The Matrix Reloaded. Says that it is released on 23rd May 2003. Thats 9 months and counting!!!!!

I watched the trailer for them both yesterday before Minority Report. It was all one trailer just mentioned em both. They look ace, can't wait.
Gave no exact dates, just said they were both coming in 2003. According to www.upcomingmovies.com The Matrix: Revolutions is due to be released in November, but this is an American site so add another month until we can see it.

if you know the right people then you would be able to get them to download these films from the internet as i have done and must say that they are very good films with lots of cracking special effects.

Not exactly constructive to encourage fellow members to illegally download movies, is it?
Warner are being very crafty with the release dates of the movies. Reloaded is entering cinemas in good time for the summer season and Revolutions in time for the Christmas season. The Reloaded VHS / DVD will also probably be out in time for the Christmas rush. Not criticising or anything, just making an observation. Fair play to them!!
