Matisyahu is awsome

i'm pleased to say that i've heard of him way before the television appearances....if you haven't downloaded any of his stuff...download "live at stubbs" much better than his recorded stuff

i predict that within his next album he's gonna be huge

MatisYahu was on MTV??? I dont even watch it anymore cuz its ridiculous.....I heard of them when they played with OAR at the Garden.....I think they get annoying after a while but other than that they are sweet to mellow out to when your stoned....

Happy early b-day
. I hope that you get your car registration taken care of. I paid mine right before the deadline .
I am still waiting to find out if my best friend can go so I can buy the right amount of tickets.

See thats not the type of music that should pump you up....you should chill when you listen to them.....or even dance but if that gets your adrenaline pumping than thats kinda weird heh......oh welll to each his own right?

How can you chill when Matisyahu is flowing like mad crazy on King Without a Crown on the Live at Stubb's album? The lyrics are extremely positive and make me want to dance when I hear them.

Not all reggae is about chilling out. Most of the time it gets me excited and want to dance on stage like Bob Marley used to do.

Although, a good chill type song by Matisyahu is Exaltation

Exaltation, my God of salvation
The field and there in will be filled with jubilation
The lord's name will be proclaimed amongst the Nations
We don't have no time for patience

Heavens rejoice and the earth will exalt
Oh no, come swing back like a catapult
The sea and its fullness will roar
He is our help and our shield our soul yearns for the lord
Burning God of Yaacov everlasting stronghold
Break down the door I can't hold back no more
Wait all night long, until the early morning
Like night watchmen wait for the dawning

Chorus

Arise, be our help
Place my trust in your kindness
It's a must hoping in the God of deliverance
Since way back when before time began
Existing eternally, everlasting, rejoice in the name of his majesty so we sing

Chorus

Chant sweet melodies, utter hymns and sing praise to his name
For he's alone exalted holy,
Performing mighty deeRAB and making new things,
Sowing righteousness and creating healing
He spoke, the world came into being
Master of praise, renews each day
Redeems and saves, continuously, blessed is his name
Making great lights, creating luminaries
Abounding in mercy
Won't you grant me?
Understanding
To perceive, all the teachings in your Torah of love, existing eternally, lead me

I just got back into town.
The show was amazing! The tabernacle is an awesome venue. I managed to get pretty close up to the stage. I was in such a hurry to get to the tabernacle that I forgot my camera at the hotel
I can't wait to go back and see some more shows there. I wish you could have gone to see Matisyahu....

im not a real big fan of him, but when he came though town last he was with a underground hip hop artist that goes by "pigeon john" i dunno if they are touring together still but if they are deffinately check pigeon john out too.

I'm going to see Matisyahu perform again next month. This time it will be closer to where I live; plus I have always wanted to go to the Orange Peel.
