so pretty much there's a rectangular garden. It has 4 sides. It has 3 walls and I grass hedge (this is one of the legnths of the rectangle). The total legnth of the wall (excluding the grass hedge) is 48 metres. The total garden area is 216 square metres. The legnth of the garden is at least twice the widths.

x = 6 metres is the width
36 metres is the length.

x is the width
Let y be the length.

Then,
xy=216
2x + y = 48

y = 48 - 2x
x(48-2x) = 216

48x - 2x^2 = 216

x^2 - 24x + 108 = 0
(x-6)(x-18) = 0

x = 6 or 18
y = 36 or 12

(6,36) is the only answer where x ≥ 2y
