A physics student throws a softball straight u into the air and then catches it as it falls down. Her friend has a stopwatch and determines that the ball was in the air for a total of 3.56 seconds. (neglect the height from which it was thrown)

A. with what speed was the ball thrown?

B. How high did it rise?

C. How fast was it moving when it was caught after its flight through the air?

I have no idea where to even start or the equations to use, alls i know is the time is 3.56 seconds? and we've been talking in class about the number -9.8 as an acceleration?
