Tanya and Beth each have two children. We know that at least one of Tanya’s children is a boy and that Beth's oldest chilled is a boy. Explain why the probability that Tanya has two boys does not equal that the probability that Beth has two boys.

im not sure if this is the correct answer, but i'll give it a go anyway.

the probability that tanya has two boys is higher because in the question it says AT LEAST one of tanya's children is a boy. This means more than one of her children could be a boy.For beth it says her oldest child is a boy, she only has 1 boy.

Sorry if that was confusing, i explained it as best i can.
