ok. i made a bet with these two guys that i was right. now i'm asking if you think it's right.
So the area of the patio is 2400cm squared. we are trying to find out how many tiles we need. They say the tiles are 30cm on one side and each stone is a square. here are the answers of the two sides.
Side #1
2400 divided by 30 = 80 therfore you will need 80 tiles.
Side #2
since they gave the side length and it's a square this side did 30*30 which is 900cm squared.
then they did 2400 divided by 900 = 2.666666667(rounded up = 3) therefore they will need approx. 3 tiles.
So which is right? Side #1 or Side #2??
i'm side 2 omg i won. haha losers.. lol
