Does anyone know what has happened to Alice?

Alice is out of Masterchef but on the up

BOURNEMOUTH'S Alice Churchill has been knocked out of the semi-final of Masterchef The Professionals.

The 22-year-old, a former chef at WestBeach, tried an experimental beef and langoustine dish that the judges felt did not fit together.

Who is the chef - anyone know?
 
I kept muttering Surf and Turf everytime Greg was scrunching his face and looked confused at the combination as if someone had asked him to recite pi to the hundredth decimal.

I couldn't understand why they thought it was such a weird combination.
 
I know that Gordon Ramsey is the owner of Maze but I understand that the head chef is Jason Atherton who appeared on Great British Menu.
 
I didn't realise that jason had left Maze. I looked on google and there is quite a good article about his new restaurant "Pollen Street Social" which will include a "dessert bar". It is opening in January.
 
The funny thing is, that in Mr Wallace's co host John Torodes beef cookbook. He has a recipe in it for Beef Fillet with langostenes. Posh surf and turf :D
 
You don't get 2 Michellen (or however you spell it :o) stars because your Dad and Uncle were great. He really is that good, haven't eaten at his place myself (one day!) but have several frienRAB who have and they raved about it.
 
I think that this is the first time one of our foodie threaRAB (Various Masterchefs, The Restaurant, Tatty & Gimp) have made it to a "part 2".... we must be chatting a lot this series ...
 
It's because some people keep up a running commentary in here while it's on instead of watching the programme. :D

I have long given up trying to catch up with this thread.
 
There's no problem commenting while Masterchef is on, because at least 30% of the programme is pure filler. How many times do you need to list to the 'Culinary rewarRAB are hard won. Michel Roux ...' spiel?
