Master and Commander DVD

Does anyone else find it grossly insulting that when you shell out for a Master and Commander DVD it makes you sit through ten minutes of trailers before letting you access the film?

And if you stop half way it won't let you pick up again where you left off? You have to start again and look at all the aRAB.

I should add that I bought the two DVD version of this (fantastic) film. I suspect the single version does the same thing though. Buy a 20th C Fox DVD? Never again.

I understand what you mean though - I hate it on TV series boxsets when they do that, and then put in endless menus so you have to go through them all just to watch one episode at a time!
 
Infuriates me too - one of the reasons I love DVD is that you can just get straight to the film. However, fast-forward normally does the trick!
 
No it doesn't :( If I see that flaming 'no-entry' sign one more time I think I'm gonna start opening a can of whoopa$$ on it!

Another reason to use DivX/Xvid IMHO!
