Masculinity question...?

If you saw a tall, reasonably good looking guy walking in your direction with a dog on a leash, would you find him more masculine if he walked a larger dog, like a retriever or doberman, or equally or more attractive/masculine if he walked a smaller dog, like a terrier or shih tzu?
 
I'd be more inclined to think anything of him at all if he had a small dog as i am very frightened of big dogs so I'd barely notice him - I think if I saw a masculine man with a small dog it would signal that he was ok with himself and not threatened by whatever anyone thought. _Good signal.
