I don't know that they like violent guys. It's because men who are aggresive have high levels of testosterone, and therefore produce a lot of sperm. Women are attracted to these men because they are very fertile.
I'm not sure, but that's not an intelligent thing to do because guys like that tend to be abusive. Maybe because their father was like that and since he is seen as manly-any guy having the same anger traits would also be seen as fatherly, or masculine.
