martial arts.....which one?

i am very much curious about my health these days and somebody told me that martial arts is good for strength, stamina and flexibility. Can any body tell me if it is ok then which technique is more comprehensive and worth learning i.e. ningutsu, taekwondo.... etc
Also im a management professional, a student (MBA), a husband and now a sports man so please tell me time efficient technique bearing all fruits of martial arts.
