I was just wondering if there is a specific "Aayah" or a "Dua'a" to ACTUALLY bond a man and women in the relationship of a husband a wife!
I asked both my mom and my dad and both of them said that as far as they knew, there was no specific one.
When "Niqaah" is done, they just read various verses of the Quran. And 2 witnesses from each side are to be present there and they have to sign on a paper and they take oath and agreement from both the bride and the groom!
But, this can be done by Christians too, except this that they might read verses from the altered Bible! But there must be something for Muslims to islamically bond them into this relationship! Otherwise, anyone can start being a so-called husband a wife without a particular Islamic procedure!
