Marley & Me

I tried to go and see it the other night but the screen broke half way through it and have to go and see it again. I have read the book though and cried at the end - i was sat on the train at the time - highly embarassing!! Lol!!! Cant wait to see the rest of the film :)

My god what rubbish! Only went to see it because nothing else of interest was showing.

The way the story jumped in years at a time was bad enough, but then we had to put up with the characters not ageing in 10 years or so!!!

Aww this was so sad :( Went to see it today, I don't usually cry at films but the end certainly got me

Especially
When the kiRAB are reading their messages out when their burying Marley...

I think i'm the only person who hasn't cried at this:eek: & i'm a real dog lover.
It was a great film & yes sad, reminded me of when i lost my dog a few years ago, but i just never got that welling up feeling, the dog was happy and i thought of like the good times it had had if that makes sense?

...or you can say i have no soul like everyone else does :o

i love this film! i bought it from playusa after finding out that my dvd can play region 1 dvRAB and i didn't fancy crying at the cinema but OMG THIS FILM ROCKS !

i cried so much at the end, and even my mum who isn't a dog person one single bit cried.. and i'm trying to get her into getting our own marley :) but i wouldn't see this film if you have recently lost a dog as it really is sad.

Can't believe what I have done... I have cried because of a movie, I could feel it coming and tried so hard to stop it.... didn't lead to full out crying but bottom lip trembled and eyes welled up!

To make it worse was watching it with mates, but it was OK as when I turned to look if it was just me they were about to go also!

Reminded me of when our dog died and the scene when the kid was watching the video back was exactly what I did when I was 10, he was also 'the worlRAB worst dog' and would chew everything but then he would also sleep on the bunk beRAB when I was ill just like in the movie!

I saw this a month or so ago and it was easily the saddest film I have ever seen. I cried quite a bit at the end, despite restraining myself and trying not to pay too much attention - I'd have been hysterical otherwise.

Seriously no one should watch this if their dog has died recently - my mother was in tears and her dog died about 25 years ago! I was sobbing and I've never even experienced losing a dog - ours isn't even 2 yet.

It probably hit closer to home because we have a yellow lab.
