Market Kitchen UKTV

whoever put alex zane on this show should be shot. hes been a complete dick on this show. what was all the touching of the glasses and calling the show market kitchen with alex zane is taking the piss

I never joined but did look in now and then and MK was totally slaughtered :D

Most of the posters reminiscing about Great Food Live. Get over it!

They had a website makeover so maybe it wasn't all a conspiracy :D

Amanda Lamb and Matthew Fort hosting. Looks kind of funny as Lamb is on with four blokes who are all about a foot shorter than her :D

Seems to be back to normal this week. For the past month they have had the diners surrounding the chef as he/she has been cooking. Haven't seen that today.

Is Amanda really that tall? or is she wearing massive high heels?
Did'nt like the idea of the diners crowding the chef, I know most people might be interested in the cooking, but many of them are just interested in the eating. It all began to look just a bit too cramped :D
Dave Spikey is on tonight as a guest, that should be fun as he gave James Martin a headache on Saturday Kitchen, because he's a veggie!
I can remember him saying "Oh Goody",Broccoli!".:D He was a real barrel of laughs

That annoys me about some of these live food programs. If you are having a special guest and are going to cook for them then do some research.
If they are a veggie then make veggie dishes. It's not going to kill people to see some veggie recipies for a change.

They had a guy on MK the other week who was a veggie and he couldn't eat anything, not even the jelly because it has non-veggie progructs in it. They fobbed him off with a some kind of leaf. Oh goody! ;)

That was Dom from Dick and Dom, I think Dick is accurately named, mind you they are both t*ssers imo. Yes, Dom didn't eat the jelly but did eat some Marshmallows which also have gelatine in them.

ok, I realise there probably aren't many fans or viewers of this show but frankly format of the show and the time of the early evening repeat worked really well for my teatime schedule.

Why to Good Food keep f-ing about with the sodding schedule? !!!

Luckily for the next couple of weeks the snooker is on :)

The post by Decky3 wasn't appearing. It's a forum glitch. Sometimes it recifies itself but it's been a few days so if you just add a post to the thread the previous post magically appears.

Seems to be the norm these days for cookery shows to tour the country. It used to be once per decade (Floyd, Rhodes, Stein) but in the last 5 years it seems that every year or 6 months a show is doing it (Local Food Heros, Hairy Bikers, GBM etc.)

And no Amanda Lamb and her puppies :(
