So after popping this bad pimple I had, it healed up a couple days later but then it started to peel off. Now I have this pinkish colored mark under my lower lip.I'm new at the whole acne and skin thing so I'm not really sure if it's just a red mark or scar:( I've been using Neutrogena Marks Treatment for maybe a month now but it doesnt help much.Is there any way to get rid of it?I included some pictures. One is a little farther away and the other one is upclose.Sorry if they gross you out.I know my skin isn't all pretty:') Thank you so much for your help!

That is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I get that after mine also, it's going to stay for awhile. Some of mine fade after a few weeks and some have been there for months, it just depenRAB how bad it is. I've tried all kinRAB of things. I can't use hydroquinone which works for alot of people, I have been using olay definity which actually seems to be helping but I also use niaciminide with it and azelaic acid cream. All of these have to do with melanin production and inhibition. I would start off with the olay definity but I also use a glycolic acid product to help exfoliate and with the lightening, I didn't start seeing a difference until about 3 weeks later. Good luck

That mark will is going to go away, but its going to take about two weeks for full improvement. It looks like you did that about 4 days ago. I have so many acne marks that have not gone away, especially one on myt cheek that I picked too much and it left a burn type mark, now its like a dark spot that looks like an oversized birth mark. But, Its still coverable with makeup for the most part. You will be able to cover yours with makeup until it goes away. Also, try taking benadryl, it helps with the inflamation. But, take it before bed. Try to get at least 8 hours of good sleep, because thats when your body does its healing (while asleep, because your heart slows which calls for better circulation to the wounded area).

The reason aspirin works also is because it has salicylic acid in it which is great for pimples and that will dry it up and help the pore and it's also an antiflammatory, so if it's red and swollen, it will bring that down right away. You can google aspirin to see the info. Good luck
