I am gonna be a sophomore in highschool and I have been planning on joining the military more specifically the marines when I graduate. The catch is I am currently in a college bound program at school which will give me a scholarship depending how well I do academicaly. I don't know if this will interfere. Pros and cons for usmc would be great. I need some suggestions and guiendence. Veterans answers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone

Just join NROTC when in college. You'll graduate as an Officer in the Marine Corps (with an S). This means you'll get to lead Marines, have a higher salary, more benefits, etc.

You will get a lot of tail in the Marine Corps, unfortunately or maybe fortunately for you, it is hairy man tail you will be getting.
