This is my fav Sofia movie because it was not as slow as Virgin Suicides or Lost in Translation. Kirsten did a good job and the movie was beautiful to look at. There wasn't much dialogue so it was like watching a silent movie.

not the white hair cause that was the wig, but when she was in that country house and her hair had soft curls. I like the soft curls

i want to see this, but am torn...I am worried I will totally hate it! The only sophia movie I thought was decent was virgin suicides....

Her bio said that after that 1st birth expericence she vowed not to have a public birth again and her husband honored that.

be sure to tell us what you think

oy the birth scene was horrible. I'd yell for everyone to leave

I'm going to see this movie with my best friend soon. We both want to see it SOO bad. And now after reading all your posts, I want to see it even more .

 :yay: I always start a thread that's already here.

I liked bits of it but it was just really different. Kind of different like Moulin Rouge.

I actually think Kirsten did a good job from this point of view

The innuendo in this movie is quite funny, you have to really pay attention because it's there and you will laugh and be like "wow"

I was surprised when I saw the ads because it's a different portrayal of Marie Antoinette, and I'm not sure Kirsten Dunst is the person to play her (although unilke many people I like her as an actress).

Thanks for the thread, by the way! :)

So has anyone else seen this movie?

I saw it yesturday and it was very different
