it was funny when they were stuffing niknaks in her hair and it looked like she was going to fall over.

here is Marie's bio from Wikipeida

very interesting and some things I was like "hay that was in the film!"

It said this

and this

I liked it. It was slow in the beginning, a little moreso than her other films (in my opinion), but it was still enjoyable. Good moments with humor, amazing music, and the whole thing is just beautiful to watch.

My friends and I got a big kick out of everyone waiting for them to consumate their marriage. I still don't get why it took him so long.

mattia you won't hate this movie at all, you just might find it way different but it's not a movie to hate.

It's so kooky at times that you really like it

I loved Jason and Kirsten in this movie. They were so cute together

She's called "The Baker's wife" because of the "Let them eat cake" thing. Every history teacher told me she was called the "Baker's Wife."

I think as queen she had the right to say there was no way people would be allowed in the room while she was giving birth

I guess they looks cute. the wigs just turned me off.

She never agreed it was just something they did for the royalty.

For her second child it looked like everyone watched but I think they let them come in the room after their son was born

Does anyone else think Kirsten and Jason look cute together?

I like the powered wigs ;)

I get headaches so I wouldn't want to wear one but they are cool.

she matches her food

plus the choice of music reflects her costumes in the carefree type of way

 I know right

This movie does make you really hungry. But it looked as if the only stuff she ate was dessert and no food.

I loved how the kids looked nothing like him. They kind of looked like Michael Jackson's kids:lmao:

ITA with this.
I love the color palette of the moive even though it's not historically correct.
It conveys a fun carefree mood and goes well with all the pastries :)

I like that about it

I liked the film. Kirsten did a very good job and Jason too. I though he was weird at 1st but I guess he was supposed to be. Why else would it take 7 years to consumate a marraige

Also I was prepapred for a slow film after watching Sophia's other movies.

The colors and costumes, and food was so cool. It was visiually stunning. and I liked the modern music put in there too. In those aspects it was a it like Moulin Rogue WHICH I love.
