U could get some shots of the floats or the Mardi Gras Indians @ the Zulu Parade. marching bands, ppl with beads, or you could do the night scene, tourists with beads and alcohol...there's plenty of things. all you have to do is go to a parade and there will be plenty of options. you'll see.
