Many Questions About Manual Stick Shift Cars!!!?

Okay, please don't be rude. I just started driving a stick shift 2004 5-speed Honda Civic EX Coupe. I have nobody to teach me, so I'm learning alone.

1.) I upshift at 3000 RPM. What's the best speed/RPM to shift at in a 2004 Civic in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th?

2.) How should I downshift? At what RPM/speed?

3.) I can shift from 2nd to 3rd to 4th to 5th pretty well but starting up the car is still hard. I often stall when I'm trying to shift from Neutral to 1st or Reverse. Now, I just wait until the clutch is 1/3 of the way out and give it gas. I rarely stall but the wheels always spin and there's a funny noise when I shift. How do I shift into 1st and Reverse smoothly?

4.) Can I keep the clutch held down at a red light for like 3 minutes? Will it wear out the clutch? What should I do at stop signs and red lights?

5.) How do I drive on hills? I'm having huge problems when my car starts rolling back. When I use the emergency brake, I end up stalling.
