Man's Constant Battle With Girlfriends Devoid Of Music Taste

Guess it just comes down to me finding the arctic monkeys' sound really boring then, haha.

But in anycase, the cover showed me that the songwriting is actually pretty solid.

I'm lucky I've never had this problem. Though thats because I'm en elitist douche who refuses to date someone who doesn't at least find my tastes listenable. Its probably valid on my behalf though as I'm a musician and it is the career I'm hoping for.

I'll be the first to say that Antics was awful (two good songs, at best) and that what I've heard from the new album isn't any better. But Turn On The Bright Lights is wonderful.

Stella's probably my second favorite after Leif Ericson. I really love that song for some reason.

All my girlfrienRAB didn't have taste apart from my last one, who i hit it off with due to her noticing my Smiths shirt.
She did actually have damn fine taste but she was the thickest one of them all. My conclusion is to just grin and bare it.

Im still missing a Modern Lovers album I lent to an ex-girlfriend...

There is a bright side to a girlfriend having shitty music taste.

I think Interpol's lyrics are less obvious. :\

I dont have any of their other albums but from what I heard they arent worth the listen. Also Obstacle 1 is great, the reason I bought the album actually. :D

@ Alex
Yeh that sums up about how I felt, srsly we even got so into it we were comparing lyrics, I showed her "There is a Light that Never goes out" she'd be like 'that doesnt even rhyme'.

Also,
The worRAB 'Joy Division' and 'shit' should never be in the same sentence
