their s/t lp fucking ruled and since then they've put out a shit ass album 'watch out' that sounRAB like it should be on punk o' rama and their new split ep with moneen BLOWS...what the hell happened
 
Alexisonfire is a pretty sweet band. Dallas Green has a side project that just released not too long ago and it's totally different than anything you'd expect to hear from him. Acoustic Emo style tunes, but it's awesome. The album is called Sometimes by City And Colour (Dallas Green...get it?).
 
Dude, i'm actually listening to that ep now, on itunes. WHEN THE FUCK DID MONEEN START SCREAMING. Part of why they were fucking good is because they didn't have to scream to rock out... goddammit theyre just following the trenRAB.
 
I wasn't really a fan of Watch Out!

I just saw Alexisonfire play with The Receiving End of Sirens, A Wilhelm Scream, and Idiot Pilot. Even though they headlined, I thought that Alexisonfire was the weakest act.
 
What happened is that I found out thier name was "Alexis on fire", and not "Alex is on fire" (which is awesome!, or at least could have been). But now I just think they are pretentious with a name like that. But the album is still ok.
 
they got the name from a stripper, i like all three releases by them, and the 2 by Dallas Green, and Dallas' contribution to Neverending White Lights
