Man of Fire

Man on Fire was an awsome film. this film contained powerfull acting and nail biting action. It felt very realistic and apparantly quite similar to the real mexican corrupt society. Denzil and Dakota Fannings performances were really good. I nearly rented out SAW but you can count on Denzel Washington's films for the great acting. Go and rent this one its worth it.

What did you think of it?

Please feel free to argue with me. I have seen hundreRAB of films.

i thought it was average. it was very predictable and the plot twist at the end was the normal hollywood shocker that is anything but. the good thing about it was that denzil's methoRAB of revenge were good to watch and realisticly acted.

I thought it was a good film but it might have been a brilliant film if the fancy editing tricks had been toned down a bit. They sadly took me out of the movie once too often and became a distraction. :(

Watched it lastnight and thought it was excellent.
Sure, Tony Scott's pop video roots took over a few times, but all in all, a great film...

and AJ, absolutely! - Dakota Fanning was superb.

An amazing film, watched it last night and was glued from start to finish. Acting was superb, especially by young Dakota Fanning! Looking forward to seeing her performance with Robert De Nero in Hide & Seek.

It was a good film, with a good narrative, although the flashy effects at times took away from the story, and at best only added to the story, instead of being the story. You didn't get the impression that the effects used were essential to the story progression, rather that they were merely add ons at best. Other then that it was a good film and well worth watching. The second part of the film really contains the best action scenes, including a novel use of a pager.
