Man made global climate change or not: Which scientists are correct?

We're either going to waste an obscene amount of money or we're going to ignore a global catastrophe. There doesn't seem to be any in-between.

How do we reach a consensus?

The global warming campaign is a farce. However pollution is obviously not a good thing and we should all work to reduce it in a reasonable way.

That does not mean a tax or shutting down our small manufacturers.

Why did AlGore tuna disappear ??

He has been given a chance to debate this on a world stage ... and is absent from his pet project

This is like asking "who is to blame for a muddy river?"
Without man's influence there would still be mud in the river, just not as much run-off from farms.
At the same time, those who claim that man isn't responsible for reducing their effect on rivers as a result of farm run-off, are people who love to live in that bliss that intelligent people call ignorance.

The alleged science of global warming has never seemed to me to hold much water. To many assumptions based on incomplete data. Too much contradictory data left out and too many political figures who stand to make fortunes if they get enough people to blindly follow them. There is a very good reason that more than 30,000 scientifically educated people in the US signed a petition urging Bush not to sign the Kyoto Protocols.

I hold two science degrees myself and believe the theory is wrong.
