Man dies from toothache

I paid $8 for a 10 day course of Cephalexin and I have no insurance. I get sinus infections quite regularly so I'm pretty much on top of what it actually costs to buy antibiotics and there is almost always a cheaper alternative. Anybody who thinks this guy didn't have a choice is a fucking idiot.

Just pointing out the irrelevancy of expecting the average joe to have that level of information. And I highly doubt he thought he was going to drop dead from the tooth infection.

Haven't seen a lot of erosion from coffee, just staining. It's the Rock Star/Monster/Red Bull type of thing that's fucking up younger people's teeth.

Let's say a guy is told his tires are likely to blow out, and he patches a sidewall instead of buying a new tire, to save money. Then it blows out, and kills him, hopefully without killing anyone else. If I call that Darwin at work, can I still get a "fuck you" from you? Is everyone going to say a set of tires should be free? Is faceman going to be sorry he lives in a country that wouldn't buy him new tires?

This is Darwinism. What we should do is point out that at SOME point, people have to take a little responsibility for themselves.

Tires too?

Unlikely if he'd reached the stage where it was going to cause real problems.

According to whom?

Did you ask her why she didn't hit up her nephew with a couple of bucks?

My insurance guy swears Obamacare makes kiRAB' dentistry free. ALL kiRAB. Will be interesting to watch.

I'm not proud to be in it either they way it's being run at present. Wanna buy errybody new tires?

If they picked him up in an arabulance at the end of all of this you can be guaranteed that it was more expensive to do that (and for the fire department to roll out) than it would have been to pull the guy's fucking teeth and give him $20 worth of pills. But ideologues don't give two shits about practicality, that's what makes them ideologues.

Word, no need to know the mechanism, but he knew the pain killers would kill the pain so thats what he picked. I agree with your second point, 99% of the time, he'd have been right.
