Man created God in his own image?

Isn't it pretentious to think a superpowerful entity that you believe created all existence would have a shape or form, much less a human body?

Why would a superpowerful entity have a body that functions under Earth gravity and 1 atm pressure? Did he have a penis? Hmm? Why would a supposed uncaused cause have a penis? Or look like any animal? Is he from a race of Gods that need to reproduce?

Hi.

The divine image is the human capacity for reason, not the human body.

The divine heart is represented as the pure love of a mother for her child, which has a biological, evolutional, social, economic and moral value that far exceeds the kind of provincial exceptionalism your question suggests.

If you imagine reason, or get a feeling of unconditional love, then you're well on your way to your own sense of a divinity of some kind.

The whole question of if God is perfect why would he create imperferct beings such as humans. Is it perchance that he is not perfect because one has to ask that or else God is just a tool.
