I saw the movie on thursday...looove it!
Meryl is just amazing as always :thud:
IMO Pierce's singing wasn't that bad...just different cause it sounded more like Soul or something which, I have to admit, does not really fit the ABBA songs but as you guys already said: he's still soo damn sexy
ok,now I just need to buy the soundtrack
watched the musical in Hamburg, which is why I already have a Mamma Mia soundtrack but it's the German version. It's fantastic too cause Donna's voice is stunning but I'd love to have an English version
I saw the movies tonight with one of my best buds and we absolutely 'd it! It was hilarious and brilliant and kept me entertained the entire time. Kudos to all the actors for belting it out so well. I will admit Brosman was the weakest in the vocal department, but he wasn't that bad. He was sexy as hell so that's all that mattered to me. YUMMY. I bought the soundtrack right after and it's been on repeat the past four hours. I can't wait to see this again! I may be visting the movies a lot since DVD takes too long. Cheers! The only complaint I do have is...
[sp]Sophie's real father was never revealed and I really wanted to know who he was![/sp]
I watched this movie around 2 wks ago. I was dancing while watching it. The songs are great and very catchy. I would definitely watch the movie again Amanda Seyfried sings so well and I was surprised how well Meryl Streep can sing
I saw this movie last week and it's soo good. I will defiantly watch it again in the cinema. It's much more powerfull than in your livingroom
I think the most powerfull scene is the "The winner takes it all" scene. Meryl was so great there. I think she was great in the whole movie, of course, but that was the best. I love Honey Honey too  Dancing Queen was also a favorite part. I loved how many people there where running after them
I also have a very soft spot for the scene near the end when Julie Walters and Stellan sings, that was funny  I think it's a shame that the first song that Amanda sings in the movie isn't on the soundtrack. I don't remember the title, short time memeory loss
And I think that there should be a Sam/Donna thread on the couples board, hehe. Slipping through my fingers is also a great scene. I saw an interview with Amanda where she said that her tears in that scene was real because she felt to emotional
Listening to the soundtrack yet again, I am totally blown away by Mery's version of TWTIA. :thud: :sigh: That was one of the high points of the film for me.
