Making Fiends VS Chowder

I know that chowder is not a Nicktoon but I would have a similar problem in the Cartoonetwork board and I don't know where to put it.

Which do you like better? Chowder, for me is one of the MOST overrated cartoon in history. Its not funny and its boring.

Making fiends is ok and worth watching, people say that its very childish, do you find it Childish that a person in every episode wants to kill another person?

So I think that Making fiends is alot better then chowder

Hmmmm...

Chowder is about a young apprentice chef making mayhem in the kitchen (and everyone's lives)...
But Making Fiends is about a little girl who wants to kill this other little girl (who wants to be her friend) with evil monsters...

I can't decide man!!! They are both just so funny and well-written... Why isn't there a third choice?

What? I enjoy several Nicktoons Network, Nickelodeon, and (of course) Cartoon Network. I'm just saying that both Making Fiends and Chowder are equally enjoyable. The reason I mentioned their premises was because they were silly and actually made for great series.

I don't think that I've ever heard of Making Fiends before, but from the brief details that I've heard of the series, it seems like both Chowder and Making Fiends are too different to compare. I know that this is for fun, but I think a comparison works better when the two or more shows have some similar traits between them.

I do really enjoy Chowder and I think that it deserves the praise that it gets, but I don't think I would call it the most overrated cartoon in history. That's overlooking a whole bunch of other cartoon series for starters. Besides that, I haven't heard praises like, its the best show ever. Most people who do like it enjoy it for the humor and the characters and suggest other people to check it out, but I haven't heard much beyond that.

First, I fail to see how these 2 shows are even similar enough to be compared to one another.

Second, it's obvious that you dislike Chowder, which is your opinion, and one that is not shared by others (myself included), and just because a TV show doesn't contain any blood, gore and killing, that doesn't automatically make it "boring", but can't you praise one show without bashing the another?

Third, who cares if Making Fiends is childish or not? It's airing on Nickelodeon, the KIDS' network, so naturally there's going to be certain amount of childishness. Too often, older fans try to use "it has an adult edge" as an excuse to justify their liking something because their too embarassed to admit that they like a kids' cartoon, but I say "Bump that!" I don't care how "childish" a TV show is. If I like, I like it. Deal with it.

On the subject of childish, I think that this is the most childish comparison I've read in a while. Aside from the obvious fact that Chowder and Making Fiends have absolutely El Zilcho in common, come on: one kids' show is automatically superior to another kids' show simply because it contains implied attempts at murder? Really....

This could of fit in the General Animation board. Typically when you compare two similar shows on different networks, that's where you'd go, but I've yet to see Making Fiends, so I don't know if it's similar to Chowder or not.

I think, Tednut, that he thought you were being sarcastic with your first post:sad: .

I've never seen either of these show, but Making Fiends.... just sounds awesome to me.
