Is it possible to get a car made street legal in California if you have done tons of mods to the engine. What kind of process would i have to go through? I am sure it would pass a smog test and I could have all the EGR equipment hooked up. I've heard they will fail you for having an aftermarket exhaust and intake though.
How would I go about getting a carb sticker? The car itself is pretty much stock minus the motor.
It is also not a bunch of junk that doesn't improve performance, the car is a 4 cylinder with around 350hp
I don't know how to make an answer show up as the best answer. But i want to throw out a HUGE thanks to you junebug! Thank you so much for the information.

Anything that is not OEM will fail the Emissions Inspections....many people find out the hard - and expensive way - when they put on a bunch of junk that does nothing for the performance, then have to return the vehicle back to OEM specs when it fails the Inspection
