Hi everyone,
I'm feeling pretty down today so I thought I would post. It seems like a distant dream that I was declaring myself pain free in my last post, and I enjoyed a whole month free of pain. I completely forgot that I had problems with my back. I was pain free from the end of Feb to about March 20th.
During this time, I was shocked to find out that a young coworker was out due to back surgery. I found out that he has DDD. He had some roRAB put in his back and walked around with a cane for several days. Now he seems to be back to his wild partying self.
Well the back returned as mysteriously as it left. No certain motion or activity brings it on. It just decides to return at will. Most of the time, I am usually in a state of intense pain that feels like a brick pressed hard into my back, or I just feel like my back is weak and no stability.
I am considering seekign medical advice again. I saw a neuro back in early late Jan, and he said he did not see anything major wrong on my MRI. There has to be some logical explanation for this miserable back pain. I think back now to when I got my original Xray done at the chiro. He mentioned that my spine was off from the normal S shape. Could the spinal joints be moving and causing this pain to trigger on and off? The pain levels are constantly changing.
It has really affected my life. I struggled yesterday just to get out and go shopping a little bit. My life is not even half way off, and it depresses me to think that the longer half of my life will be full of pain and more pain.
Oddly enough, my boss has come down with the same problem and he had to get a MRI. He seems to be functioning normally now, but we never know who is hiding their pain. Maybe my work environment (office job sitting all day) has something to do with this.
