Make portable apps for flash drive?

What's the easiest way to make portable apps? I have a few programs I want to make portable.
I already know about portableapps.com. I want to make my own portable applications...
 
You can make few softwares as portable but few can't be made portable...
For example- - I'd just made a portable copy of photoshop 7.0. by copying the root folder of photoshop
You can also try it on another software.
May be it will work...
