its a sonnet with:

10 syllables per line
shakesperean sonnet (so the pattern is ababcdcdefefgg)

theme: 75th golden celebration of a school

little info of the school: located in High River, a fast growing community of about 10,000, nestled at the edge of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, 20 minutes south of Calgary. We are a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade Six elementary school. Holy Spirit offers a Catholic Christian education to over 300 students in a warm and caring environment. Our staff focus on the development of the whole child in relation to values and teachings of the Gospel. We emphasize the importance of academics and strive for excellence in a safe and caring atmosphere. Students are challenged to work to the best of their abilities. Holy Spirit Academy is designed to facilitate student learning and is equipped with mobile computer labs, band, art room, and full sized gym. We have active participation by students and staff in a variety of clubs, teams and intramural programs, and extracurricular activities.

We rely on the support of both the home and the parish to meet the goals set forth by Alberta Learning and Christ the Redeemer School Division. We emphasize the development of strong basic skills that can be transferred to all learning situations. Language Arts, Mathematics, and Religion are a primary focus with excellent programs offered in the areas of Science, Social Studies, French, Physical Education, and the Fine Arts. Our school has a full time special education coordinator who works with a group of highly trained support staff to provide learning assistance to those students who need help in becoming independent, confident learners. Our staff consists of caring, committed and dynamic individuals who enjoy working in a team environment. Each teacher is connected to a team of teachers that meets weekly to focus on improvement of student learning. Our staff maintains a close relationship with the parish community and our priest, Father Philip Le. Principal Dorothy White welcomes those new to the area to meet with her and enjoy a tour of this beautiful new facility.
