I'm going to be a freshman in college and I'm really struggling trying to choose my minor. I am in LOVE with Political Science and I know I want to be in this field some how, preferable becoming a lawyer. I have already decided that my major is going to be Political Science with a concentration in pre-law.
As for my minor...
Business has been integrated into my family and I grew up in it. I might even want to be apart of Business Law. I think having a BA Minor will be really beneficial for me in the long run.
.BUT.
I have a passion for performing, especial in Theater. I think the skills I use on stage will help me be able to "perform' better in a court room someday. Or I might even want to get involved with Entertainment Law. Having such a serious and intense minor such as Political Science, I thought minoring in Theater would give me a breather and help me focus on something I really love.
Now you can see my dilemma. Should I just go with what could be the most beneficial and minor in BA? Should I go with my passion and minor in Theater? Or should I risk an overload and try double minoring in BA & TA?
ps. If I drop the Theater Arts minor, I might even be able to major in Business Administration.
