Along with a trailer (for the dub?):

Thanks to CrapMonsterDuchess of Phenotype's ZoiRAB Forum for bringing this to our attention.

I've been wondering about what they would do with Genesis for awhile now and I wanted to see it ever since Viz announced that it would stream at Jetstream, which obviously didn't happen. Hopefully, this leaRAB into a DVD release of the series.

Wow. I'm in shock. O_o

Seriously, I never expected to see this again after Viz let it fade away after they licensed it and promised it on TJS. Sigh. Well the trailer is certainly interesting, but no dub voices, which is sort of a surprise since I assumed the dub was long since completed. So far I'm okay with all the name pronunciation and I'm glad no one had their name changed. The only one that's a bit off is Zailin, since I've always thought of it more with the "r" sound, but it works either way. Interesting they decided to spell it "Ruge" though, I personally prefer "Ruji." I also don't care for "Zoid Rider," what happened to simple "pilot"?

They get bonus points for using the actual BGM in the trailer, and I'm guessing the the rock part at the end is mostly likely the dub opening. I'm a bit disappoitned with that since I actually think the OP/ED for the Japanese version are great...I guess I can hope for a bilingual track on a DVD...provided this even makes its way to the US. Interestingly enough though, 2009 is the copyright at the end of the video which means Viz still maintains rights and plans to do something with it. Not to mention the "merchandising" tab at the top means they might be planning something there.

Well I remain optimistic that we will eventually see this here, hopefully soon. I really think Chaotic Century fans would enjoy it, maybe even revitalize the fandom a bit. Gotta say they are pretty heavy on the spoilers in that trailer though, ruined the surprise of Hayate. >_

I would love that too. I haven't seen that series in ages, but I do believe that was one of my favorite ZoiRAB series. I heard that you could find it on eBay, but it would be really expensive though. While I wouldn't mind seeing this series at all, I would prefer a DVD rerelease of the previous ZoiRAB series at some point of time.

I'm kind of hoping if Genesis comes here and is a partial success, they might consider it. I already own both CC and NC/Z, but I'd be willing to double dip for a boxset of some sort.

This is a pleasent surprise. But, with Jetstream gone now, what would happen to ZoiRAB:G here in America? Don't tell me that it will go to the Funi channel.
