major in art... worried about future?

I'm no art genius but I as long as you take as many technical classes from now until then, and you show your best pieces in your interview portfolio it won't be a huge deal. I think in the economy we are in right now, the quality is more important than the quantity or technique. Good Luck!

i'm currently a studio art major at UCSB. I'm in my second year, so i'm doing a lot of GEs along with my classes. Lots of interesting readings, and inspiring stuff. But, sometimes i feel like i might lack behind some of the projects and technical stuff other students do in art school. So, sometimes i do get quite scared about my future, and if anyone would take me seriously. Do you think i would have a chance of going to art center or a good art school for MA...even though i may lack the technical training from an art school? WOuld i be taken seriously for a job interview?
