Waiting on a service manual to get here (anywhere on line to download one ?)
Where do you check oil level in the machines ? Soon as the manual gets here will do an oil change. Have been using Royal Purple Synthetic in my vehicles for several years---what are people using in the bikes ?
Good source for oil and air filters--other maintenance items ? Also--is there a place to "Choke" the engine when starting it cold?

actually it is a c50 ---didn't see a glass viewer on the engine---will look again--Thx

sure acts "dumpey" when i start it cold

No choke on your bike but it is fitted with an auto fast idle which helps with cold starts. When you first fire her up, you can notice the rpms are high up but soon it slows down.

See the attached images for the oil and sight glass. If you don't have maintenance records, change the shaft oil also. Did you check the water level?

Did I say you have a beautiful machine? Love the spoke wheels at the aft. Wonder how it would look with ape hanger bars?
