Mail order business help?

I want to get into the mail order business where you get the letter and you send it out to 200 or more other people and they send you $1 and all the other 5 people on the list and so one. They say you can make good money off of it but i dont know anyone who does it. Is there anyone who has done this before? If so how well did you do and how much money did you make?
 
No, that does not work. It is a waste of time. Try something more organized if you want to do that, but maybe sell stuff.
