This was on Empire website about a planned film version of the 80 TV show Magnum:

Being a fan of Magnum the show it'd be nice if Selleck was back, but I seriously doubt that'll happen.

They have been talking about a Magnum PI movie for yonks now. I thought George Clooney was doing it

Yeah I heard that rumour as well a few years ago. I would like to see Tom Selleck back for the film but it might be Ben Stiller after his previous work with Rawson Marshall Thurber in Dodgeball!
