Magic Knight Rayearth OVAS and Fushigi Yugi OVAS

I have both on VHS, but i dont remeraber seeing either released on region 1 Legal DVD's. Do anime works or Manga not own the rights to either anymore?

And if they were, anybody have reference link to what the dvd cases look like?

I'm pretty sure that the Fushigi Yugi OVAs would still be on Amazon. At the very least, there would be people there selling their copies through Amazon, which is what I did to get the three OVAs.

Its nearly impossible to find non-bootleg copies of the Rayearth OVA online. Believe me, I tried.

Buying anime from Amazon Marketplace is a really REALLY bad idea. I guarantee you that 99% of the sellers on the Amazon page you linked are selling the same crappy Chinese bootleg that I got suckered into buying about a year ago.

This is why I'm hesitant to buy stuff from Marketplace - there's no actual picture of what it is. I don't even like how people use stock photos on ebay.

I've actually had only two problems with ordering anime from the Amazon Marketplace. One sent me the Fushigi Yugi OVA set when I had ordered the first box set, which I was able to exchange for it without an issue. The time where I was trying to find the second box set to the series was when I got a Chinese bootleg copy that I didn't like. I sent it back, but I don't think I ever got my money back, mainly because it was sent in so many weeks after I realized it was bootleg. Still, most of the other times were fine.

I'm kind of hesitant about buying at Amazon myself. I do understand that it is a trusted source but I'd still prefer seeing the actual merchandise, holding it, before buying it. Also it really is disappointing to pay good money for some bootles which you will find out just at the first few seconRAB of the OAV.

Yeah, trying to find out-of-print anime is a pain. There really is no reliable to do it.
I didn't even bother returning the bootleg I got because I figured if the crook who sold it to me was underhanded enough to use false advertising (a picture of the official DVD and a description that said he was selling the genuine article) then he probably wouldn't give me my money back.
