today i went to the shop to get n95 and it was 485 cyprus pounds or 1145 american dollars and i check underneath the battery and it says made by nokia and i only want made in finland. So i wanna ask you guys what exactly made by nokia means does it mean china or what and if i cant find the phone made in finland shall i just buy the one they got or no.

i did and didnt find much and plz tell me how hard is it to tell me what made by nokia means.why and say like ohh there is another thread. i made the thread because i want an answer quickly cause i will buy the phone thats why i made this thread
 
Made by Nokia means it was made in child sweatshops where they only employ disfigured children(also retards)

Made in Finland means your phone was constructed by Finnish engineers with GPAs of 3.5 or higher.
 
Agreed. I would like to point out that angel_wing must not be awake yet. I also believe that in this particular situation both are assembled by the lowest of the low wagers and the only key difference is skin tone
 
Some might argue there is a dose of "smug" inserted into the Made in Finland phones before the label goes on. Said "Smug" is known to leak out of the handset and into the head of the owner, this does not occur in all cases, but it does happen more often than should be acceptable.

(This coming from a guy who has had nothing but "Made by Nokia" phones.)
 
actually the Made by Nokia phone's sticker is Made in Finland, and the Made in Finland phone's sticker is Made in China...

and the packaging is also different...
 
If I were you I would throw a PM out to HOFO's foremost expert on S60 devices.... Sir-gee! Haven't seen him in a while but there's a rumor he still stops by under a different name. God he was great!!
 
I carry a made in China N73, and it works for me, Made in Finland is just another scheme to rip people off, same build quality, just different places where it was made, not all chinese laborers are kids in sweatshops, agree there are some turds here, get it over with
